motivationYour brain is like a circuit switch. Once you believe you are something, you actually EMBODY it – you embody that feeling. If you were (god-forbid) in a coma, and you woke up, and you didn’t really have a memory, and you were told that you used to be a navy seal, and they want you back when you’re healthy – do you think you’d act differently, hold yourself differently, conduct yourself differently, and have a different self-concept of who you are than if you were told you were a piano instructor?
Being successful in life is all about having the proper belief system in whom you are. Truly believing that you are something unique, that you are something special in that field. If you truly believe inside of you that you ARE one of the best actors in the world, you will be entirely different than if you were like, “I hope I’m good.”  Hearing motivational words from others, such as affirmations, for example, is very powerful,, however, these motivational words need to come from the inside.
Your expressions will be totally different. Your tone of voice – you’ll talk in a more convincing fashion. You’ll use your natural voice instead of a scripted one. You’ll be more emphatic, you’ll be more real – more RELATABLE. Our brain is like a circuit. And so if we introduce it with the proper wiring, you’re gonna go straight to your time. If you’re unsure about who you are, then your dreams and your goals – they will never become a reality.

Finding Motivation to Overcome Adversity

motivationMotivational words will only take you so far, you need to put in action to yield results.  Everyone has mental doubts in life – internal conflicts. Even the most successful people that you look up to – but they don’t LIVE there. It’s how you handle those negative thoughts in that EXACT moment and overwhelm them with positive action. And that comes with this utmost confidence in yourself – that you can handle the situation. Trust in yourself that you are better than the moment.
The moral here is that to become something, you must embody it. You must envision it, and you must think/act like it. You need to believe in yourself, as cliche as it sounds. You need to put the power of belief to use if you want to become something you aren’t. If you want to become the famous chef of all time, you can’t doubt yourself, you have to think you are good – and, most importantly, you CANNOT give up.
The journey is always difficult – but as they say, “success is a journey, not a destination. The doing is often more important than the outcome.” Because you learn as you go, you literally are “becoming” the person you want to be as you take that journey, it becomes more important than the destination itself.
motivationWhat is also crucial is that you don’t linger on your internal conflicts and mental doubts. Overwhelm your negative thoughts with positivity. Don’t let yourself be held back or dragged down or prevented from accomplishing your dream simply because of a negative thought. This will never give you the chance to prove yourself. Be confident in yourself and your actions. Have trust in your ability to do better – because then you ultimately WILL do better.

Think of Motivational Words – Think Differently

motivational words and motivationThe great THINK differently – the great SEE differently, right? The great have a different world view. The great, they approach the game in a totally different way. So I need you to do me a huge favor. I need you to think about what you’re thinking about when your effort is low. Because if you can get this, if you can get this, you can get any success you want in life. You can have ANYTHING you want in life if you can get this.
The next time you give a low effort, right, you give a 70% or 50% or 30%, I want you to think about what you’re thinking about when your effort is low. If your effort is low, you’re probably not thinking about the opportunity, you’re probably thinking about the obligation.  With that said, You need not only motivation, you need the motivation to motivate yourself.  Memorize and recite motivational words, listen to motivational podcsts, read motivational books, take in any form of media that puts powerful motivational words in your brain.

Take Every Opportunity to be Better Than the Day Before

motivationI keep thinking about the OPPORTUNITY – every single day – I’m thinking about the opportunity, and I’m looking at this thing as an “obligation.” Being alive, I am obligated to take advantage of everyday that I am blessed to have because everyday is a once in a lifetime opportunity, you will never have that day again, so take advantage of it.   Every time I wake up, I’m thinking, “I’m ALIVE baby, this is the day, this is an opportunity to improve myself, gain strength to get out of my wheelchair, and be better than I was the day before.  For example, I find my motivation, and stay motivated, by at the end of everyday I read a book that is packed with motivational words, I listen to positve affirmation vides that are packed with more motivational words, and I surround myself with positive people who encourage me with motivational words as well.  In other words, if someone or something is not filling and feeding my brain with positive thoughts I do my best to keep my distance.

Everyday is an Opportunity – Find it or Create it

If you want what you’ve never had before, if you want to do what you’ve never done before, if you wanna be what you’ve never been before, CHANGE YOUR MENTALITY, and I want you to see that effort goes UP when you look at it as “I’ve got the opportunity of a lifetime.”
motivationYou should be EXCITED about the fact that you have an opportunity.  Life is driven by motivation- If you are hungry you become motivated to find food, if you are in danger you become motivated to find safety,  if you feel like an outcast you are motivated to find a sense of belonging, and if you have low self-esteem you are motivated to have prestige and accomplishment.  So, how can you apply this to your life? The next time you put in a low effort, think about what you’re thinking. If it’s “I have no energy” or “I have no money” or “I have no determination,” what’s really stopping you, is YOU. You have the power to change this perspective. You have the power to change the amount of effort you put in. If you’re putting in a low effort towards something meaningful, then it’s only YOU to blame for not reaching your goals. You are fully responsible for the outcome.
You need to stop thinking about things you want as an “obligation” and instead as an opportunity. It’s not every day or everyone in the world who has access to the internet, a car, employment, and many other things that we take for granted. Take advantage of the numerous opportunities laid out in front of you and utilize them. Then, you can be satisfied with your life accomplishments as you get older rather than upset you missed out on the chances given to you.

Coach Nolan is a life coach of motivation, not by regurgitating motivational quotes, abstract theories of motivation, or by dropping an ostentatious motivational phrases on you.  Instead, Coach Nolan takes the stance of putting in work and let your results speak volumes.  While it is wonderful that life coaches, wellness coaches, and anybody else who spews out motivational quotes, these motivational phrases are not enough to make a permanent positive impact on other people’s lives.  If you seek motivational quotes, theories of motivation, and motivational phrases, that is great.  However, if you are seeking motivational quotes, theory’s of motivation, and an inspirational life coach who is dedicated to delivering you real results is optimal.  With that said, Coach Nolan delivers beyond what the typical life or wellness coach provides by yielding results that exceed your expectations.  Motivation is crucial for any success in life and sometimes you need motivation to make that first step.  With that said, I strongly urge you achieve motivation of a life time my taking a taking a course on motivation.
