My Recovery

st2 (1)Since coming out of the coma I always told myself, “The work you put into what you want reflects the results you get out.”  I do not believe in shortcuts because every hardship makes future challenges easier to overcome.  Additionally, the strength you build from overcoming adversity are the building blocks of opening doors for you in the future.  With that said,  in any challenging circumstance you can prepare to suffer or prepare to overcome and use the challenges ahead of you.  On that note, this is my journey to overcoming my many challenges since being shot in the head.

Progress is not easy. Advancing is laborious, tiresome, and uncomfortable. Progress is not about comfort, it is about working hard and making strides

Never to weak, never to old to keep pushing forward.

My name is Nolan McDonnell and I am from San Jose, CA.  I have a traumatic brain injury from being shot in the head.  My full name is Nolan Thomas McDonnell.  At any rate, this video is about my typical day recovering from my TBI, I hope you enjoyed watching it.
